Day 199/366

This dry, hot Summer is definitely taking it’s toll on the local farmers. The corn fields look worse than anything I can remember seeing. I’ll be curious to see how this will affect the price of things. Corn is tied in with just about everything in the US. It’s an ingredient, in one form or another, in a lot of foods, it’s used to feed livestock, and it’s even added to our fuel. Aside from all that, I’m just not a fan of hot weather. Hopefully we get a long, cool, rainy Fall after all this. I’m ready for hoodies and pumpkin spice lattes.
