Today, my friend Andy and I met in St. Louis to catch up a bit. We originally were going to grab sushi, but Wasabi was closed so we ended up at a place called Rooster. Neither of us had ever been, but it looked intriguing from the outside, and there was a decent size crowd, so we decided to give it a shot. While their specialty is crepes, neither of us actually got crepes. I went with the Rooster Slider, which was essentially their version of what I know as haystack. Toast, egg, potatoes, and andouille sausage all covered in gravy. Andy had the B.E.L.T, a breakfast BLT. While his was the more photogenic of the two, they were both delicious. I’ll be making it a point to go back and try the crepes.
