Day 10/366

Nearby, there is a lot with, what appears to be, abandoned farm equipment. There are several tractors that have been left to the elements for years, maybe even decades. We’re not talking tractors with just rust patches, we’re talking entire tractors that are solid bodies of corrosion.  Perhaps it’s just too expensive to have them hauled away to a junk yard, but I can’t believe someone would let something that expensive just go to waste to begin with. While I did get several shots of the tractor graveyard, the image I chose to share is a macro of the steel belts around a rusted wheel. I’m guessing the steel belts were wear belts from the rubber tractor tires, long dissolved, but I don’t know for sure.
